Imelda Ojeda

Imelda is a Bilingual, Associate Licensed Master Social Worker. Imelda specializes in providing services to children, youth, adults and families to build resilience and navigate complex life changes. 

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Imelda moved to Phoenix as a young adult and is familiar with the challenges of the Latino community, immigrants, first generation, mix status families and the emotional toll of systemic barriers. 

With a culturally grounded, trauma-informed approach, Imelda provides bilingual psychotherapy in English and Spanish, helping individuals navigate life transitions, build coping skills, and provide the support they need to heal and thrive.

Ella se especializa en brindar servicios a niños, jóvenes, adultos y familias a desarrollar y fortalecer su comunicación, su salud mental y cómo navegar los cambios y dificultades de la vida. 

Originaria de Guadalajara, México, Imelda llegó a Phoenix en el 2004 y conoce de primera mano algunas de las dificultades que enfrenta la comunidad Latina, los inmigrantes, las familias de estatus migratorio mixto, y el impacto emocional que esto genera. 

Con un enfoque cultural y personalizado, Imelda ofrece psicoterapia bilingüe en inglés y español, ayudando a las personas a enfrentar cambios y transiciones, desarrollar una salud mental saludable, y brindarles el apoyo necesario para sanar y seguir adelante.

Brittaney ‘Britta’ Kekaula

Britta is an Associate Licensed Master Social Worker. She specializes in trauma and violence. She has over 5 years of experience in medical and clinical case management. Britta also has 2 years of in-person and virtual clinical practice.  Britta’s mission is to help individuals and give educated care. She offers safe and supportive care for those committed to taking control of their lives. She helps them make healthier decisions.

Since 2013, Britta has had the privilege of working with clients within a variety of roles and settings. Recently Britta worked as an outpatient licensed therapist at a community health agency with high acuity clients. Brits past experience working with a diverse population and multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary teams allows her to offer quality treatment and individualized care. 

Britta has been trained in Sand tray, Positive Psychology, Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Motivational Interviewing. Her preferred practice is to use a strength-based, trauma-focused talk therapy, and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Britta works best with clients who are 18-30 years of age, 1st Gen clients, BIPOC, and LGBTQA+ clients.

Veronica Villarreal

Veronica is an Associate Licensed Master Social Worker with 11 years of experience working with adults, children and families in various roles within different healthcare settings. She offers a nonjudgmental and supportive space for clients to feel comfortable to process and feel their emotions. Veronica is passionate in helping others to make healthier life decisions and heavily advocates for self-care.

Veronica works best with clients who are 18-35 years of age, 1st Gen clients, BIPOC, and LGBTQA+ clients. She brings a solution focused and goal oriented approach to therapy. Veronica specializes in substance use, trauma, crisis de-escalation, life transitions, anxiety and stress.

Veronica utilizes a strength-based, person-centered and anti-racism approaches, as well as, incorporates a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) within her trauma informed practice.

Iliamari Vazquez Houston – *Iliamari has limited availability

Iliamari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Iliamari is the Owner and Clinical Director at With An Open Heart, LLC. Iliamari specializes in Latine life transitions, Latine Maternal Mental Health, BIPOC life transitions, stress, anxiety and burnout. Iliamari provides EMDR and IFS Intensives for clients who want to process and work through trauma in a quicker manner.

Iliamari is an EMDR and Ketamine Assisted EMDR Therapy™ trained, Run/Walk/Talk certified, IFS Level 1 Trained, trauma therapist with expertise in; maternal mental health, family issues, boundaries work, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, and intergenerational cycles and trauma.

The last 15 years she has worked in a variety of settings with diverse communities. Her experience allows you to feel heard and validated in order to make healthy improvements. It’s about progress over perfection. We are human with complex emotions and needs. Each session works towards the overall goal, however it may look different session to session. Again, meeting you where you are at in that space and time.

Flor is a Bilingual, Associate Licensed Master Social Worker.

Flor specializes in working with clients 15 years and older, Couples and Families, and Veterans and First Responders. Flor is a Level 1 Gottman Trained Couples Therapist, as well as EMDR trained.

Flor’s specialties are: Trauma, Anxiety/Depression, First Gen and BIPOC experiences, Life Transitions, Chronic Illness, Relationships, Emerging Adulthood, Work/Life Balance, Family Conflict, and Christian Counseling (upon request). Flor’s diverse experiences in various communities brings a supportive and grounded approach.
