You Don't Have to Heal Alone

Individual therapy is powerful. But there's something that happens when you sit in a circle—virtual or in-person—with others who share your experience. When someone says the thing you've been too afraid to say out loud. When you realize the shame you've been carrying doesn't belong to you alone.

In our communities, we've always known this. We heal en familia, en comunidad—together, not isolated. Our grandmothers gathered in kitchens. Our tías processed their lives over cafecito. Community has always been our medicine.

Group therapy and workshops bring that same healing power into a structured, trauma-informed space. You get to:

  • Share your story and be witnessed
  • Learn you're not the only one struggling
  • Build skills alongside others on the same path
  • Give and receive support in equal measure
  • Create genuine connections with people who understand

Led by culturally responsive therapists | Virtual groups meet via Zoom | Affordable, accessible support | Bilingual options available

Many of our group members are also in 1:1 therapy, and the two work beautifully together. Groups offer something individual sessions can't: the power of shared experience and collective healing.

Groups aren't a replacement for individual therapy—they're a complement.

We offer virtual therapy groups designed for the experiences our community navigates. Groups are small (limited to 8 participants), confidential, and facilitated by our trained clinicians.

Group 1: Mama Lunchtime Virtual Group

For moms who need a space to breathe, process, and connect.

This group is for anyone who is pregnant or has children—whether you're navigating the fourth trimester, toddler chaos, or the emotional weight of raising kids while healing your own childhood.

We meet during lunchtime because we know nap time is sacred and evenings are impossible. Bring your lunch, bring your baby (if needed), bring your honest feelings. This is a space where you can say the hard things—the things you can't say to your suegra or post on social media.

What We'll Explore:
  • The identity shift of becoming mamá while staying yourself
  • Navigating cultural expectations around parenting
  • Processing postpartum anxiety, depression, or overwhelm
  • Setting boundaries with family while honoring your roots
  • Finding your parenting style when it looks different than how you were raised
  • Building community with other moms who understand

Group Details

  • 8-week virtual group
  • Meets Mondays, 1:00pm - 2:00pm MST
  • Limited to 8 participants
  • Cost: $30 per group session
  • Format: Zoom (link sent after intake is complete)

Eat your lunch, sip your cafecito, and connect with other mamás who are doing this work too.

Group 2: Let That Sh*t Go

A space for adults ready to release what no longer serves them.

This group is for anyone open to journaling, humor, and honest self-reflection. We're here to create space for personal growth, let go of stress and negativity, and build a life rooted in joy and self-acceptance—not perfection.

You'll receive a PDF journal to follow along with throughout the 8 weeks. We'll explore what it means to release old patterns, laugh at ourselves a little, and make room for the life we actually want to live.

What We'll Explore:

  • Identifying what you're holding onto that's holding you back
  • Letting go of perfectionism and people-pleasing
  • Processing resentment, anger, and old hurts
  • Building a life aligned with your values, not others' expectations
  • Using humor and compassion as tools for growth
  • Creating boundaries that protect your peace

Group Details

  • 8-week virtual group
  • Meets Fridays, 1:00pm - 2:00pm MST
  • Limited to 8 participants
  • Cost: $30 per group session
  • Format: Zoom (link sent after intake is complete)

How Group Therapy Works

Before the Group Starts: You'll complete a brief intake so we can make sure the group is a good fit for where you are in your healing journey. This also helps us create a cohesive, supportive group dynamic.

During Each Session:
  • 60 minutes together via Zoom
  • Confidential space where what's shared in group stays in group
  • Structured but flexible – we follow themes but make room for what's alive in the moment
  • Facilitated by a trained therapist who keeps the space safe and balanced
  • Small group size (8 max) so everyone has space to share

You're welcome to eat, drink cafecito, or just show up as you are. Some weeks you might share a lot. Other weeks you might just listen. Both are okay.

Between Sessions: You'll have optional reflections, journal prompts, or practices to support your growth. These are invitations, not homework—we know you have enough on your plate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if I'm nervous about sharing in front of others?

That's completely normal. Most people feel nervous before their first group session. You're not required to share deeply right away—you can ease in at your own pace. Our facilitators create a warm, nonjudgmental space where vulnerability is honored, not forced.

Q: Will I know the other group members?

No. Groups are made up of people who don't know each other, which often makes it easier to be honest. There's something powerful about sharing with people who have no preconceptions about who you "should" be.

Q: Can I do group therapy and individual therapy at the same time?

Absolutely. Many people do both, and they complement each other beautifully. Individual therapy is your deep dive; group therapy is your community.

Q: Are the groups conducted in Spanish?

Currently, our groups are facilitated in English, but Spanish is welcome and encouraged when it feels natural. We honor Spanglish and the way language holds our stories. If there's interest in Spanish-language groups, let us know—we'd love to offer them.

Q: Do I need to have a diagnosis to join a group?

No. You don't need a formal diagnosis to benefit from group therapy. You just need to be willing to show up, be honest, and engage with others doing the same.
